The Montana Bar Exam is a 2-1/2-day exam -- Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday -- with the multiple-choice Multistate Bar Exam on Wednesday, and essays on Thursday and Friday. First
Day (Wednesday) morning session: Montana Essay Subjects Essays are graded on a scale of zero to a high of five. Your essays are totaled, with the total then converted to a scaled score, on the same scaling as the MBE (low of 0 to a high of 200). The scaled essay score is doubled, then added to the MBE scaled score. This number is divided by 3. If the final
number equals 130 or more, you pass the Montana Bar Exam. |
